SHELLS.
HEAVY-DUTY WOVEN NYLON SHELLS
All of our mittens are built using 2-layer, laminated, heavyweight, high denier, durable Bluesign® and OEKO-TEX® certified nylon fabrics.
DWR COATING (PFAS FREE)
Our 2-layer shell fabrics also have a durable water repellent coating that is PFAS free, which prevents moisture from passing through the mitten’s exterior.
MICROFIBER THUMB BACK PANELS
More durable than the industry standard flocked suede, our mitts come with runny nose, goggle lens friendly microfiber thumb wipes.

PRIMALOFT® INSULATION
Developed for the military as a water resistant, synthetic alternative to goose down in sleeping bags, PrimaLoft® provides down level heat, while excelling in wet environments.
PRIMALOFT® GRIP-CONTROL PALM INSULATION
Originally developed for winter footwear applications, the fibers are structured to minimize lateral sliding, providing an anti-slip, super stable surface, which works wonders for increasing your grip power.
3M BLUESIGN APPROVED POLY INSULATIONS
Bluesign® approved raw materials are produced in a resource conserving way with a minimum impact on people and the environment.
HAND SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION™
We sandwich your hands between a thicker layer of insulation and liner materials in our hand backs (where your hands lose the most heat), and slightly thinner materials on the palm side (for increased grip and dexterity).

15K DRY CLAW™ HIPORA® INSERTS
Crab Grab customized 15K Hipora® membranes are waterproof, breathable 3-layer membranes that encapsulate our insulation and liners. The membrane’s microporous structure allows water (melting snow and rain) from entering, while allowing water vapor (your sweat) to escape.
